Frequently asked questions

What to expect before, during, and after a MOMENT sprint.

Working with MOMENT

How long does a typical project take?

~6 weeks, depending on feedback. And even if your team needs extra time on feedback rounds, we won't charge you more—the price is the price. In the past, we've run projects that lasted for months, others that we sprinted to get done in two weeks. We've found six weeks is the sweet spot for our process where we have the right amount of room to explore and find something truly world-class for companies.

What do we get at the end?

You receive the full design system, all design files, web assets, product visuals, social media collateral, and a fully developed website ready to launch on your platform of choice.

How does pricing work?

One flat fee of $50,000 USD, paid once. That covers the entire six-week sprint — brand, web pages designed end-to-end, all assets, and development included. No hourly billing, no scope creep, no surprise invoices: you know exactly what you're paying before we start, and the price doesn't change mid-project.

Do you work with early-stage startups?

Yes. We work with companies at all stages, from pre-seed to Series C and beyond. The common thread is founders who care about how their product and brand is perceived online.

What platforms do you build on?

We prefer building on a custom codebase — it lets us deliver AI-native sites where your team can ship updates, create pages, and publish content through plain English. That said, if your team feels strongly about Webflow or Framer, we build on those frequently and are happy to do so.

Can you help with brand, not just web?

Yes. If it's the right time for a new logo, we'll design one. If your logo already works, we'll build out the full visual language around it. Either way, every sprint includes brand work as part of the process, not as a separate engagement.

What about product design?

MOMENT sprints focus on brand and web. For ongoing product design, we partner with PERMANENT, an embedded design team that works inside startups long-term. If your needs go beyond a sprint, we can connect you directly.

What does AI-native mean?

Every site we build is AI-native — built with AI workflows in mind from day one. We set up structured component libraries, clear documentation, and configuration files so tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex can understand and modify your site. Your team can ship updates, create landing pages, and publish content through plain English — without a designer, without sacrificing quality. Read more about AI-native.

What if we need more pages later?

Every site we deliver is AI-native, meaning your team can create new pages, update content, and extend the site using AI tools — without needing us on retainer. We build to hand off, not to lock in. If you need ongoing design work after the sprint, our partners at PERMANENT run embedded engagements for exactly that.

Can we update the page ourselves after launch?

Yes. We build on platforms with visual editors so your team can make content updates without needing a developer.
